I’ve always had this push and pull regarding traditional and digital art. Never quite sure what fits where. But maybe I don’t need to bundle my art into pre-determined boxes even before I’ve made them?

(The capitalist voice in my head wonders how I can begin to sell anything though?? Lol.)

Anyway, I played with Clip Studio Paint after a long absence, on a whim, and I’m really liking what’s coming out of it 🙂

Kinda regretting setting this on an A5, cos I think I might actually want this print as an A4 at least? But it’s a bit too late, and I kept thinking this would be no more than a sketch.

I feel like I should have anticipated that I would end up rendering it thoroughly, since I almost always render everything in the end.

Ah well, what’s done is done, and what’s important is that I’m relearning things, learning new stuff, and enjoying this process, so I’ll be happy with things as they are now 🙂 Next steps: adding embroidery details, some motifs in a circle behind her, and completing the thing.
